It has been a month since I posted! I am so sorry. I really need to get on top of this. This post is of my senior prom (as if you couldn't tell). Prom was actually really fun, despite the food (so gross, it pains me to even think of it). But I'm glad I went, and it made me realize that my senior year is really almost over; less than 3 weeks!
I knew I wanted my dress to be more simple than most prom dresses. I stumbled across this dress after extensive searching on the internet; I loved the color, and the higher neckline. Also, it has an open back so I was still showing some skin; it was perfect. Since it is spring I decided on white shoes instead of my go-to black, and lighter accessories.
I finally had time to take pictures for an outfit post! Well, I made time.. in study hall. Yes, these were taken in the bathroom at my high school. Hense, the jail-like background. But hey, I got it done, and that's all that matters, right?
My AA tennis skirt finally came in the mail! I am honestly in love with it. It makes me want to play tennis just so I have a reason to get more. Also, my Asos backpack came in the mail. I am loving white bags/shoes for spring so it is perfect. Because it was roughly 60 degrees I paired the skirt with tights and a denim jacket.
Since my last post I've turned 18! I am now legal. And no, I didn't go out and do anything crazy for my birthday (shame on me). I just spent the night with my mom and my best friends. My mom made a killer red velvet cake which may have just been the highlight of my birthday.
I feel bad I haven't had a chance to make an outfit post since I've been super busy with school. However, I do have an outfit of the day from yesterday.
Jean Jacket: Levi's// Cat Shirt: Forver21// Highwaisted jeans: H&M// Shoes: Ross// Purse: Local Botique
Yesterday, I also got my hair dyed/trimmed! I was so tired of dealing with the roots, but I still wasn't completely done with the blonde. Which led me to Ombre! It was a completely last minute decision. I am the queen of impulse decisions, and usually they don't end up so well, but I think this was one of the few that ended up working out.
Although it is technically spring it is pretty chilly out so I pared a cropped sweater with my white skort. I know, everyone has this skort, but how could I not make a blog post with it? Of course I wore my cutout boots, and also a bar necklace from f21 to add some shine.
Happy Spring! Finally spring is here, and watch out, I'm baring my legs for the first time in 5 months. This is my first outfit post and I thought, "What better way to kick-start my blog than with a plaid skirt?" ( I know, not that spring-y, but hey, I love plaid skirts).I pared the skirt with a cozy sweater from f21, my go-to cut out boots, and topped it off with a red hairbow.
Hi! I'm Kiersten and this is my personal fashion/life blog. I am currently a stressed out high school senior living in Pennsylvania. After I graduate high school I plan on going to college and majoring in Fashion Merchandising. My first passion is fashion/style and, although I have a lot going on, I always find a way to make time for it. This blog first started out on tumblr where it is all streetstyle (hence "streetluxe"), but I decided I want to post more of my personal style, so I extended it to this blog. This blog is going to be mainly my outfits, along with some items I like, and maybe the occasional post about my life. Aside from fashion I am a foodie and I love reading and movies. Thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoy my blog!
